The Praxis leadership team brings together complementary expertise shaped across Australia’s largest institutional developers and leading private groups.
While each director has carved out a distinct career path spanning engineering, commercial operations, residential, industrial, urban renewal and complex mixed-use projects, they are united by a shared approach: clarity in complexity, disciplined execution and a focus on value creation.
With an engineering background and more than 25 years in property development, David has built a strong track record delivering complex, large-scale projects from initial concept through to completion. His expertise spans strategic site acquisition, value-add development and navigating high-stakes stakeholder environments.
Before co-founding Praxis, David established and led the Victorian operations of a major private developer for 15 years, and previously held senior roles within one of Australia’s largest institutional development groups.
Jonathon began his career running customer-facing businesses before transitioning into property development 12 years ago, joining the Victorian team of a large private residential developer. Since then, he has successfully delivered projects across broadacre land, built-form residential, childcare, and more recently light industrial development.
Jonathon brings to Praxis a diverse commercial perspective and a hands-on understanding of what it takes to drive a project from early feasibility through to delivery.
With more than 23 years’ experience in property development, Alex offers deep sector knowledge and a holistic understanding of the development lifecycle — from acquisition and masterplanning through to delivery and finalisation.
He began his career with one of Australia’s largest developers, gaining exposure to major urban renewal projects, before moving into senior roles with a leading private Melbourne developer. Alex has a proven ability to unlock value on complex sites and bring commercially resilient projects to life.
Their combined experience offers stakeholders the benefit of diverse thinking backed by a deep understanding of real-world delivery. As individuals they are specialists; together they form a balanced, strategic team capable of navigating the full development lifecycle and unlocking opportunity in even the most challenging sites.
